New York Chapter works for individuals in risk management through all of
its events and programming to support fulsome messaging and
communications of financial risk management in banking, securities
industries, insurance/re-insurance enterprise, and all agents of
financial wealth gathering/management. Members are admitted according
Chapter criteria on good faith in terms of their engagement in
professional risk management career assignments. Founded on February 20,
1920, The New York Chapter of RMA is based in New York City. The Chapter
now celebrates ninety years of professional development and support for
individuals in the NYC metro area working to improve financial risk
literacy and for the benefit of financial services.
