The Risk Management Association (RMA), founded in 1914, is a not for profit organization established to advance the use of sound risk principles in the financial service industry with emphasis on enterprise–wide credit risk, market risk, and operational risk. The national headquarters is located in Philadelphia, PA and there are local chapters around the US, Canada and overseas.

RMA’s New York Chapter holds 8 or more monthly events during the year covering timely topics and promoting best practices to members. Meetings are held in a convenient midtown location and the evening begins with a 5:30 PM cocktail reception followed by a 6:00 PM panel presentation and audience Q & A. A brief cocktail reception follows until approximately 8:00 PM. The receptions allow the opportunity to have dialogue with RMA Board members, other attendees, and the speakers. A $50.00 annual Chapter membership fee allows you to receive discounts on the monthly evening programs, as well as to any breakfast programs, or other special events sponsored by the Chapter.

You will reap many benefits by affiliating yourself with RMA’s NY Chapter:
• Professional and Social networking events for awareness of institutional and industry themes and for enlightened debate of risk issues.
• Introductions to senior risk officers across an expanding institutional industry for finance, credit, market, and operational risk functions.
• Professional development activities to hone leadership, communication, and interpersonal business skills through participation in the RMA NY professional risk management community.

Note: RMA’s New York Chapter emails information on upcoming programs. Please reply to rma@rmany.org if you would like to be included in the group that receives the emails in the future.
