The Speakers For This Program Are:  

Roger Curylo, Senior Vice President, Credit Risk, Fidelity Investments 
Roger Curylo is Senior Vice President of Market and Credit Risk for Fidelity Investments, the largest mutual fund company in the United States, the No. 1 provider of workplace retirement savings plans and a leading online brokerage firm.  Prior to joining Fidelity in 2006, Mr. Curylo was Senior Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for UBS Financial Services of Puerto Rico from 2003 to 2006, responsible for the wealth management group with a number of branches and 130 financial advisors in Puerto Rico.  Mr. Curylo held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Risk Officer for UBS Wealth Management USA from 2000 to 2003.  He was a member of the Executive Committee served on the Board of Directors for their clearing firm CSC as well as serving as Chairman of the Credit Committee.  From 1993 to 2000 Mr. Curylo was Senior Vice President and Chief Credit Officer for PaineWebber responsible for Credit Risk throughout the organization. 

Barbara Matthews, Principal - BCM Strategies, Washington DC   

Ms. Matthews is the Founder and Managing Director of BCM International Regulatory Analytics LLC(www.bcmstrategy.com). Created in 2008, the consultancy provides strategic advice and analysis to boards and senior executives concerning regulatory policy and financial market trends. It provides financial market leaders and corporations with the strategic tools they need to navigate today's challenges.

Prior to creating the company, Ms. Matthews re-established the office of the U.S. Treasury Attaché to the European Union in Brussels and served as the Attaché for two years. In that capacity, she also held the U.S. Senate-confirmed personal rank of Minister-Counselor for Financial Affairs in the U.S. Department of State. Ms. Matthews began her career in government by serving as Senior Counsel to the Financial Services Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Before entering government service, Ms. Matthews was a leader in the global financial services industry. She served as Banking Advisor and Regulatory Counsel to the Institute of International Finance throughout the 1990's and in the early part of the current decade. In that capacity, she played leading roles in formulating and advocating global financial industry consensus positions regarding derivatives risk management, bank regulatory capital, transparency, and financial supervision.

Daniel Sullivan, Director of Market Risk Controls and Traded Products, Federal Reserve Bank of New York

Dan Sullivan has been with the Bank Supervision department at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for 12 years.  He is the Deputy Manager of the Market Risk Management Department.  In that role, he is responsible for the oversight of all the examinations of Market Risk Management including the valuation practices at banking institutions in the second district.  He has an MBA from the University of Connecticut, is a Commissioned Examiner and is a holder of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designations.      

Moderator: Joseph Iraci, Governor of RMA-NY from Fidelity Investments

Joe Iraci is a Senior Vice President, Risk Management, Fidelity Investments.  Joe is currently the Head of Operational Risk Management for Fidelity Brokerage Company, a position he assumed from heading Risk Management for Fidelity Employer Services Corporation.   Prior to joining Fidelity, Joe had been the Head, New Business Operations, UBS AG, and the Regional Head Americas / Deputy Global Head of Operational Risk for Deutsche Bank AG, a position he assumed from heading Business Risk Management for Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Trust and Agency Services business.  Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Joe had been a Bank Examiner with the FDIC and served in the United States Marine Corps.  Joe completed his undergraduate studies at St. John’s University and received his MBA from New York University.
